I am a multi-disciplinary creative currently practicing in London. My practice lies within illustration and animation, utlising my graphic skillset to inform and explore communication through “cute” design. My aesthetic focus relies on cuteness as a means to communicate important socio-political morals to a wide audience.
As a creative I work within a wide range of digital media that references analog qualities; textures, grain, intricate sketches and analog mark-making is frequently used within my work. Pieces such as the promotional animated film “SPEAK” produced for The Children’s Society, or the animated sting for London International Animation Festival’s Animated Documentaries screening exhibit these analog qualities best.
My practice applies cute aesthetics as I believe cuteness is often underrated and therefore disregarded to be one-dimensional. I enjoy the challenge of communicating difficult narratives to a wide audience, as I believe my ability to implement cute aesthetics allows my pieces to have a large audience irrelevant of age or gender.
